the answer
Alhamdulillah.

Advice or guidance will not solve this problem. The problem you are suffering from is a behavioral problem. It needs solution and treatment. Only a few words of advice are not enough in this case.

All you have to do to overcome this problem is to “continue the action to the end”. Maybe the experience of solving successfully the first time will motivate you to complete all tasks successfully. In this case you can take help of two things:

  1. You can break tasks down into smaller steps. So that you have the motivation to finish each step separately and you can keep trying to reach the last step. People find big and long tasks very difficult. Therefore, it is advisable to do it in parts and stepwise in completing such big work.
  2. Selecting tasks that can be completed quickly and small and starting to finish the task. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “O people! You begin all that work; What you are able to do” [Sahih Bukhari (5861) and Sahih Muslim (782)] The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, also said, “The most beloved deed to Allah is regular deed; Even if it is less” [Sahih Bukhari (6464) and Sahih Muslim (783)]

Imam Nawabi said: That is, you have the ability to continue the work without any harm. In this hadith, it is encouraged to worship in balance and to avoid over-indulgence. The hadith is not related to prayer. Rather, it is for all good deeds.”

We suggest you to read some books and some research on educational studies; So that you can benefit from them. For example, “Al-Futur Asbuhu and Ilajuhu” written by Sheikh Naser Al-Umar, Dr. Muhammad Musa al-Sharif ‘Ajjus Siqat’.

Allah knows best.
