যেহেতু একজন মুসলিম এ ঈমান রাখে যে, কুরআনের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্‌ তার বান্দাদেরকেই সম্বোধন করেন: তিনি তাদেরকে নির্দেশ দেন, নিষেধ করেন। কখনও বিশেষ কোন গোষ্ঠীকে নির্দিষ্ট করে সম্বোধন করেন;

qari abdul basit

qari abdul basit

question
Scholars say: While reciting the Holy Qur’an, a person should cherish the feeling that Allah is addressing him in every verse. But, Sheikh! When Allah is addressing the infidels,

polytheists, liars and others, how can I feel that Allah is addressing me; But I am a Muslim and a believer in the Hereafter. Barakallah fikum.

How can we feel that Allah is addressing us while reciting the Holy Qur’an?
the answer
Alhamdulillah.

The feeling that Allah is addressing the servant through the Qur’an will be achieved through silence while reciting the Qur’an, deep contemplation (tadabbur) and good deeds.

Because a Muslim believes that through the Qur’an Allah addresses his servants: he commands them, he forbids them. Sometimes addresses specific groups; And sometimes addressed in general.

When Allah specifically addresses the believers, a Muslim will remember this address and say: We hear and obey. Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

“When you hear Allah saying: ‘O you who have believed’, raise your ears. Because Allah may command a good deed or forbid an evil deed.” [Tafseer Ibn Kachir (1/374)]

When Allah addresses all people, remember that Allah is addressing them: if it is a command, then obey it, if there is a prohibition, then refrain from it, if there is an advice, then act according to the advice.

Throughout the Qur’an the servant will cherish the feeling that Allah is addressing him. However, this feeling will vary according to the part of the Qur’an being recited:

When any obedience is mentioned, remember that Allah is addressing him as a directive to obey. When a sin is mentioned, remember that Allah is addressing him as a prohibition against this sin. When the believers are mentioned, remember that Allah is addressing them to befriend and

love them. When mention is made of the people of kufr and hypocrisy, remember that Allah is addressing enmity and hatred towards them.

When Satan is mentioned, remember that it is addressing Satan’s enmity and opposition, not following him, and obeying God. Allah Ta’ala says: “O son of Adam!

Did I not tell you that you should not serve Satan, he is your clear enemy? And (I did not say that) you will worship me? This is the straight path.” [Surah Yasin, verses 60-61]

When the truth and truthful people are mentioned, remember that Allah is addressing them to be included.

When falsehood and liars are mentioned, remember that Allah is addressing them not to be included.

Imam Abu Bakr Al-Azurri (RA) said:

Then Allah Ta’ala encouraged His creatures to understand the Qur’an. He said: “But do they not understand the Qur’an; Or are their hearts locked?” [Surah Muhammad, verse 24]

He also said: “But will they not understand the Qur’an? If this Qur’an had come from anyone other than Allah, they would have seen many contradictions in it.” [Surah An-Nisa’, verse 82]

Muhammad bin Husain (he is the Azurri) said: May Allah have mercy on you! Do you not see that Allah is encouraging His servants to understand His words. A person who understands His words can know God, know His great power and strength, know His grace to believers,

know what God has enjoined on His servants; Then he takes it upon himself to perform the Wajib and is wary of what his Great Master has warned against and interested in what He has encouraged.

The Qur’an is a cure for the person who is in such a state while reciting the Qur’an himself or listening to the recitation of others. Even if that person has no wealth, he is rich.

He is strong even though he has no relatives. He does not feel loneliness when others feel it. When he starts reciting a surah, he aims when I

will be able to receive the guidance from what I am reciting? His purpose is not that when will I finish the surah? His purpose is when will

I be able to understand the commentary of Allah? When do I refrain from (prohibition)? When will I receive the education? Because his recitation of the Qur’an is worship.

There is no worship through negligence. Allah is the Giver of Tawfiq. [“Akhlaqu Hamalatil Quran”, page-3]

Therefore, let the reciter of the Book of Allah be like this.

Allah is All-Knowing.
