Entertainment Desk: The new committee The Bangladesh Film Censor Board has been reorganized for the next one year. A number of stars have made it to the new committee of the 15-member censor board.
Actress Sujata Azim, Aruna Biswas, Rokeya Prachi, Purnima, Azizul Hakim are among the performers as members of this new committee. Besides, there is producer Khosru, director Jahangir Alam.
FDC’s current Managing Director Nuzhat Yasmin, President of the Board of Directors Kazi Hayat are also in the new committee that came into force.
The new committee matter was informed by issuing a notification from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting signed by Saiful Islam, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Information on Sunday (May 12).
According to the notification of the re-constitution of the Censor Board by the order of The new committee President, the new committee started with the Secretary of the Ministry of Information as the Chairman and the Vice Chairman of the Censor Board as the Member Secretary.
Apart from this, the members of the Censor Board are the Secretary of the Law and Justice Department, the Prime Minister’s Press Secretary, the Deputy Secretary (Administration and Films)
