Entertainment Desk: Anurag Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and popular director Anurag Kashyap have not worked together in any movie yet.

In an interview recently, Anurag explained the reason for not working with Badshah.

According to the Times of India report, in an interview with ‘Humans of Cinema’, producer Anurag Kashyap spoke about his decision not to work with Shah Rukh Khan.

Asked why he hasn’t acted till now despite his admiration for King Khan, Anurag said, “My favorite Shahrukh starrer is ‘Chawk De India’”.

Not only that, ‘Kavi Haan Kavi Na’ film is also in the list of favourites. SRK worked with everyone early in his career.

But now it is almost impossible to film with Shah Rukh Khan! Once I had a strong desire. I like him very much. But now I am very afraid of the fans.

And in today’s age of social media, famous stars have huge fanbases to fear. In fact, actors get typecast for fans and fans want to see their favorite star in the same role again and again.

As a result, if not, the fans reject the matter. That’s why even stars are afraid to try something new.

He also said, ‘Actually, I will make the film as I want. It won’t just be for the fans. But what happens after that, the reaction or consequences of it will have to be accounted for a lot.

As a result, I don’t have the ability to fulfill SRK’s huge task. If Shahrukh’s ‘Fan’ had done well, I would have at least had the guts to work with him.’

Anurag’s latest film ‘Kennedy’ premiered at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Malayalam actor Jaju George will be seen in the director’s next film.
