এক:

উপস্থিত মেহমানদের জন্য যে কোন ধরণের খাবার উপস্থাপন করার মাধ্যমে বিয়ের ওয়ালিমা পালন হতে পারে; এমনকি সেটা যদি যবের তৈরী খাবার হয় তা দিয়েও।

“আল-মাওসুআ আল-ফিকহিয়্যা” গ্রন্থে (৪৫/২৫০) এসেছে-

হানাফি, মালেকি, শাফেয়ি ও হাম্বলি মাযহাবের আলেমগণের মতে, ওয়ালিমা অনুষ্ঠানের সর্বনিম্ন কোন সীমা নেই। যে কোন খাবারের মাধ্যমেই সুন্নত আদায় হতে পারে। এমনকি সেটা দুই মুদ্দ (চার মুদ্দে এক সা’) যবের তৈরী খাবারের মাধ্যমেও হতে পারে। যেহেতু সহিহ হাদিসে এসেছে- নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি্ ওয়া সাল্লাম তাঁর জনৈক স্ত্রীর ওয়ালিমা অনুষ্ঠান করেছিলেন দুই মুদ্দ যবের তৈরী খাবার দিয়ে।

কাযী ইয়ায ওয়ালিমা অনুষ্ঠান পালনের সর্বনিম্ন কোন সীমা নেই মর্মে ‘ইজমা’ উল্লেখ করেন। বরং যে কোন কিছুর মাধ্যমেই সুন্নত পালিত হবে।

ইমাম শাফেয়ি বলেন: সামর্থ্যবানের জন্য ওয়ালিমার সর্বনিম্ন পর্যায় হল ছাগল জবাই। আর সামর্থ্যবান না হলে তার যতটুকু সামর্থ্য আছে তা দিয়ে। যেহেতু বর্ণিত আছে যে, আব্দুর রহমান বিন আওফ (রাঃ) যখন বিয়ে করেছেন তখন নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি্ ওয়া সাল্লাম তাকে বলেছেন, “একটি ছাগল দিয়ে হলেও ওয়ালিমা কর”।

নাসাঈ বলেন: উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে- পরিপূর্ণতার সর্বনিম্ন পর্যায় হচ্ছে- ছাগল জবাই করা বিঃদ্রঃ এর মধ্যে যে কথা আছে সে কথার ভিত্তিতে। আর যে কোন খাবার দিয়েই ওয়ালিমা পালন করা হোক না কেন সেটা আদায় হয়ে যাবে। এ খাবার আকদ অনুষ্ঠানের সময় যে সব খাবার ও পানীয় সরবরাহ করা হয় সেগুলোকেও অন্তর্ভুক্ত করবে; যেমন চিনি বা অন্য কিছু; এমনকি বিবাহকারী যদি সচ্ছল হন সেক্ষেত্রেও।

হাম্বলি মাযহাবের একদল আলেম স্পষ্ট ভাষায় বলেন যে, মুস্তাহাব হচ্ছে- ওয়ালিমা অনুষ্ঠান একটি ছাগল জবাই এর চেয়ে কম যেন না হয়।

আল-যারকাশি বলেন: নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি্ ওয়া সাল্লামের বাণী “একটি ছাগল দিয়ে হলেও” এখানে “ছাগল” দ্বারা উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে- নিদেনপক্ষে। অর্থাৎ এমনকি সামান্য কিছু দিয়ে হলেও যেমন একটি ছাগল।

আল-মুরাদি বলেন: এর থেকে বুঝা যায় যে, ছাগল ছাড়াও ওয়ালিমা করা যেতে পারে। হাদিস থেকে আরও বুঝা যায় যে, ছাগলের চেয়ে বেশি কিছু দিয়ে ওয়ালিমা করা উত্তম। কেননা তিনি ছাগলকে সামান্য জিনিস হিসেবে উল্লেখ করেছেন।[সমাপ্ত]

দুই:

উটের এক সপ্তমাংশ কিংবা গরুর এক সপ্তমাংশ দিয়ে কোরবানী করা জায়েয।

তিন:

গরু কিংবা উটের মধ্যে অংশীদার হওয়া জায়েয। এমনকি কোন অংশীদারের উদ্দেশ্য যদি কোরবানী না হয় তবুও। যেমন কারো উদ্দেশ্য হল বিয়ের ওয়ালিমার জন্য কিংবা খাওয়ার জন্য কিংবা বিক্রি করার জন্য গোশত পাওয়া।

ইমাম নববী (রহঃ) ‘আল-মাজমু’ গ্রন্থে (৮/৩৭২) বলেন:

কোরবানী দেয়ার জন্য একটি উটে কিংবা একটি গরুতে সাতজন অংশীদার হওয়া জায়েয। হোক অংশীদারেরা সকলে একই বাড়ীর লোক কিংবা ভিন্ন ভিন্ন বাড়ীর লোক। কিংবা তাদের কারো কারো উদ্দেশ্য হয় শুধু গোশত সেক্ষেত্রেও কোরবানীকারীর পক্ষ থেকে কোরবানী আদায় হয়ে যাবে। হোক না সে কোরবানীটা মানতের কোরবানী কিংবা নফল কোরবানী। এটাই আমাদের মাযহাব। এটা ইমাম আহমাদ ও জমহুর আলেমের অভিমত।

ইবনে কুদামা (রহঃ) তাঁর ‘আল-মুগনি’ গ্রন্থে (১৩/৩৬৩) বলেন: “একটি উট সাতজনের পক্ষ থেকে যথেষ্ট হবে। অনুরূপভাবে একটি গরুও। এটি অধিকাংশ আলেমের অভিমত। এরপর তিনি এ অভিমতের সপক্ষে কিছু হাদিস উল্লেখ করেন। অতঃপর বলেন: “এটা যখন সাব্যস্ত হল তখন এতে কোন সমস্যা নেই যে, অংশীদারগণ সবাই একই বাড়ীর হোক কিংবা না হোক।

অংশীদারগণ সকলেই ফরয কোরবানী আদায়কারী হোক কিংবা নফল কোরবানী আদায়কারী হোক। অংশীদারদের কেউ কেউ আল্লাহ্‌র নৈকট্যের উদ্দেশ্য কোরবান করুন কিংবা কেউ কেউ শুধু গোশতের জন্য পশু জবাই করুক। কেননা প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তির পক্ষ থেকে তার অংশই আদায় হবে। অন্যের নিয়ত তার কোন ক্ষতি করবে না।[সমাপ্ত]

এ আলোচনার ভিত্তিতে:

একটি বিষয় খেয়াল রাখতে হবে সেটা হল কোরবানীর গরুর বয়স কমপক্ষে: দুই বছর হতে হবে। এর চেয়ে কম বয়সী হলে কোরবানী জায়েয হবে না। এমনকি সে গরুর গোশত অনেক হলেও।

In the book “Al-Mawsua Al-Fiqhiya” (45/250) it is said:

According to the scholars of the Hanafi, Maleki, Shafi’i and Hanbali schools, there is no minimum limit for performing Walima. Sunnah can be performed through any food. It can even be through a meal made of two mudds (four mudds and one sa’) of barley. Since it is mentioned in the Sahih Hadith – the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to celebrate the Walima of one of his wives with food made of two mudds of barley.

Qazi Yaz Walima mentions ‘Ijma’ as there is no minimum limit for the performance of ceremonies. Rather, circumcision will be celebrated through anything.

It is permissible to sacrifice one-seventh of a camel or one-seventh of a cow.

It is permissible to have a partner in a cow or a camel. Even if a partner does not intend to sacrifice. For example, one’s intention is to get meat for a wedding walima or to eat or sell.

Imam Nabawi (RA) said in Al-Majmoo (8/372):

It is permissible to have seven partners in one camel or one cow for sacrifice. Whether the partners are from the same house or from different houses. Or some of them intend only meat, in that case the sacrifice will be accepted on behalf of the sacrificer. Whether the sacrifice is a vowed sacrifice or a voluntary sacrifice. This is our Madhhab. This is the opinion of Imam Ahmad and Jamhur Alam.

Ibn Qudama (RA) said in his Al-Mughni (13/363): “One camel will be sufficient for seven people. Likewise a cow. This is the opinion of most scholars. Then he mentioned some hadiths in favor of this opinion. Then said: “When it is established there is no problem whether the partners are all from the same house or not. Whether the partners are all performing obligatory sacrifices or performing voluntary sacrifices.
