Then why is it not forbidden to marry in the whole month of Rabiul Awal?! Why is there no quote from any companion, from any member of the Prophet’s family or from any scholar after them that it is haram or makruh!!

Thus, if we continue to mourn the death or martyrdom of a member of the Prophet’s family or a great Imam from among others every day, then the days and months of joy and happiness will be shortened and people will fall into a crisis from which they do not have the strength to overcome. No doubt the evils of new introductions in religious matters fall upon the first introducers; Those who disobey the Shari’ah and come to amend it despite the Shari’ah being perfected and chosen by Allah.

Some historians have mentioned that the person who first expressed this opinion; Rather, the first person who introduced the tradition of renewing the mourning scenes at the beginning of the month of Muharram was Shah Ismail As-Safawi (908-930 AH). As mentioned by Dr. Ali al-Wardi in “Lamhatun Ijtimayyya fi Tarikhil Irakb” (1/59): Shah Ismail did not stop at intimidation in promoting the Shia doctrine; Instead, he adopted another medium.

It is a means of propaganda and appeasement. He ordered the celebration of the assassination anniversary of Hussain (ra) in the same manner as it is being celebrated today. Earlier, the Buwayhid kings of Baghdad started celebrating this event in the 4th century AH. But after them it was neglected and its importance diminished.
